Unity, for me, is like a rich tapestry, and each thread of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their colour. In the same logic, unity is essential to living a harmonious life, especially for a country with diversity in Malaysia.
I was so touched by the kind side shown by the Malaysian during times of crisis; people step up and rally around to support and show kindness to those in need. Even though we all come from different backgrounds, we accept, love and stand together. Unity is the glue we need to sustain peace in our nation and the world.
